001 black floral playsuit | this pretty little number is from miss selfridge and i'm totally smitten, i love the shape and pattern, super cute for summer time & i'd pair with tights for early autumn days.

002 topshop nail varnish in disclosed | the perfect pastel mint colour for nails in spring time, i'm a big fan of the topshop nail colours although sometimes pastel shades of any brand can take a while to build up opacity.

003 asos molly t-bar shoes | these shoes are just adorable and the peppermint colour makes them so unique!

004 vanilla milkshake | this is just because vanilla milkshakes are always good!

005 tall tea mug by indigo | obviously i love tea and i'm a tea cup hoarder, i bought two others last week, what was i thinking. this mug is simple and would make a great addition to any mug collection, hello studio time with tea.

KELSEY GENNA 2014 PREVIEW

Hello lovelies, I wanted to share some of the work I was commissioned to do by the lovely Kelsey Genna. I adore her bridal designs, each dress is so darling and unique. Her latest collection is absolutely stunning and as a bride to be myself I've been cooing over the petalled dresses and delicate lace detailing on her newest gowns. Perfect.

OCTOBER: DRESS UP LIKE MARIE ANTOINETTE

Teenage queen of pastels and prettiness, who wouldn't want to dress up as Marie Antoinette? Macaroon hued dresses, peach hair, floral crowns and cherry lips. Throw on the film's soundtrack, hand out glasses of your favourite fizz and eat decadent cream laden pastries from Laduree.

PEOPLE ARE STRANGE

Hello lovelies, hope you all had a gorgeous weekend. Mine was spent sipping wine, hanging out with family, taking glitter bubble baths & wishing we had climbing roses all over the house. What did you lovelies do? Have you seen all of the beautiful pastel colours Bleach London have brought out? So many different hues I'd love to tint my hair with- at the moment it's sea foam green ombre, but I'm getting pretty bored with that and wishing for rosy pink or a violet colour. 

My illustrated a4 prints are still on offer, if you treat yourself to one you get another of your choice for free, perfect for stocking up on early christmas presents, or just as a little extra something for yourself. I've been putting some in vintage frames and they look really lovely, the pastel colours and pencil are compliment so much by a thrifted frame (especially in gold, I love gold ones, don't you?) 

So anyway, I'm off to catch up on American Horror Story and Supernatural, really love these tv shows, especially this time of year when you can throw on a jumper (or three, in my case) and light some pumpkin spice candles and watch them in the dark (or, if you're like me, definitely with the light on)

Lovelies, hope you all had a rested weekend, it seemed that summer came back to visit us again which was super sweet. We took advantage of the sun and walked up the hill to the church, past dusty fields and hedgerows much taller than myself. It was a chilled out weekend and we laughed a lot.

This last week my sister has been to stay and so we've been a little bit addicted to top knots and messy waves, tea, endless episodes of the inbetweeners, dreaming of autumn, cherry hair, picking up wooly jumpers, burning pumpkin candles, lots of laughing, the most amazing great expectations (the douglas booth one), pretty cakes and impromptu dancing to Beyonce ♥
