Happy Friday lovelies! Hope you've all got lovely plans for this weekend. I think ours will be sorting out the garden so we have somewhere lovely to hang out and have drinks and barbecues. I think a horror movie marathon is well over due, I love staying up late in the summer and having a movie night. Friday nights in our house we always used to pick out a film and popcorn and stay up late watching videos. Summer days are soooo good!

I'd like to stay up and watch the full moon tonight, the next one will happen in just under a century so it's pretty much the only chance to see it. It's also Friday the 13th so it's extra spooky. 

Wear | relaxed boyfriend jeans, t shirts & 90s shoes

Watch | maybe Evil Dead if I'm not too easily scared, I've managed 5 minutes so far!

Here are some illustrations inspired by her, they're postcard size and lovely to slip into a copy of the latest book by the muse and wrap up as a present, or pop in pretty frames.

it seems like summer is leaving us sort of one day at a time, the days are getting less hazy and have more of a chill, i've found myself pulling out flannel shirts from the depths of my wardrobes and hastily shoving on socks in the middle of the night. so i wanted to do a post all about the loveliness of summer, late summer and things that remind me of it & to sort of hold on to it for as long as i can before transcending into the prettiness of autumn, which i love don't get me wrong but am i ready to swap Pimm's for hot chocolate, to trade thin floral tea dresses for peter pan collar wool ones? (i could live with that, probably) i don't know yet.

I finally ordered this this afternoon, so it should be on it's way soon! I have yet to the read the book, so I'm not sure which way round to watch them. I started Virgin Suicides before I watched the film and loved it, but gave in because the film is just so beautiful ♥

I have decided I'd love to do my negotiated project on The Virgin Suicides book by Jeffrey Eugenides ♥ Another beautiful book I'd love to do a fictional cover for is Wuthering Heights ♥

but let's forget all that now- it's my beautiful sister's eighteenth birthday- I'm gonna go & celebrate! ♥
