MERMAIDS, MARIE ANTOINETTE & CLUELESS

You guys, I has to share this commission with you that I illustrated for the super lovely Lily from miaou or never. I absolutely adore this because I love Lily's vision and ideas and so when she kindly commissioned me to create a pastel background for her shiny new iMac, I was super excited to start drawing all those amazing elements I know Lily likes. Macarons, Meadham Kirchoff, Kirsten Dunst as a mermaid, Cher from Clueless, tamagotchis, shells, '90's shoes, shells and neon hair.

Happy Friday lovelies! What are your exciting plans for the weekend? I have no idea what we're going to do but if the weather is good then hopefully a country walk under a blanket of rainclouds (like Kate Winslet in Sense & Sensibility) I've been obsessively framing my illustrated prints, some frames are on order and I'm super excited about them! I just want to collect art and pretty illustrations and have frame walls in my house so this is my mission for this year. I'm working on some really awesome projects at the moment and I will share those when I can. I'm taking commissions now but my diary is filling up so get in there if you'd like one! Hope everyone's having a lovely week! I've been illustrating, reading Game Of Thrones (how amazing is it?!) and listening to lovely, chilled out music, missing the heat and Pimm's and ice lollies that summer brought, where have you gone? Matt and I bought sun cream and that was when the heavens opened, I'm sure it was like a kind of omen or something. Ha. Anyway, it is very nearly the weekend (again?! it rolls round so fast)! Lots of lovely creative things planned ♥

Can't fit the Avengers in today (boo!) so we're going next week but then Beauty and the Beast 3D comes out then! CLASH! Anyway, have a lovely Wednesday!
