Alexa Chung, a favourite icon of mine since my late teens, I'm reading and rereading her pastel pink book 'IT' religiously. Here are some illustrations inspired by her, they're postcard size and lovely to slip into a copy of the latest book by the muse and wrap up as a present, or pop in pretty frames.

Hello lovelies, I'm still alive, apologies for the lack of posts lately, we are in the middle of moving house and that takes up so much time. I have some lovely illustrations that I am working on currently and I can't ware to share those ♥ I had to post this blog banner I was asked to illustrate for the lovely Johanna of My Blogtasy ♥ It's always a pleasure to do a rose pink feminine banner with darling shoes and peachy lipstick ♥ Johanna's blog is super sweet and a lovely read ♥

WHENEVER I'M DRESSED UP COOL

After seeing the new Spiderman this week (if you haven't seen it yet, definitely go and see it, if only for Emma) it just reminded me of how awesome Emma Stone is, I loved Easy A, her incredible performance as Skeeter in The Help and her hilarious part in Superbad (although I wish she had been given a bigger part because she's just amazing!) Massive high five Emma  Stone who would have been in the same year as me at school, I would definitely have been friends with her ♥ So here's an illustration of her pretty face in a gorgeous Chanel dress ♥

An illustrated A-Z of Audrey Grace's favourite bloggers, icons & designers for a special zine ♥ Audrey Grace Boutique opens March 23rd until the 28th at The Highline Loft, 5th floor, 508 W. 26th Street NY, it's open on the 23rd from 8pm with sweets, wine, the band Supercute, djs The Jane Doze, so if you live near NY or are lucky enough to be holidaying there, then definitely go and have a look there will be delectable treats, fashion, art, illustration etc ♥

COMPANY HIGH STREET EDIT ILLUSTRATION COMPETITION, A FINALIST!

WOW! What a lucky person I am! I've been named in the top five for Companys High Street Edit Illustration Competition! It was a hard choice to pick someone I admired wearing my favourite AW 11 show but I decided that Alexa Chung wearing Chanel with its girly simplicity and delicate fabric was the perfect choice. Next season's must have item was also on the list of illustrations and I thought the rich cranberry reds of this beautiful Mulberry back would be a must have for Autumn 2011.

Among the finalists are the lovelies Abby wright and Fritha Stickland, and the other two illustrators Julianne Kennelly and Chiara Borwick so good luck to you all! ♥

Chanel no 5 illustration I did for the lovely Amelia's Magazine, Matt Bramford writes the fabulous article of the new release Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky ♥

I also couldn't resist doing a Marilyn Monroe inspired illustration of Chanel no 5, the delectable scent she was famous for wearing ♥
