ROMEO + JULIET

Happy Friday lovelies! Hope you're all looking forward to a three day weekend. Today has been all about mix tapes, diet coke, cherry lip balm and illustrating. I've been working on this Romeo + Juliet illustration for a while and with other projects on I hadn't got the time to finish it, but here it is. It's available for a limited time in my etsy shop.

I'LL NEVER LOOK BACK, NEVER GIVE UP

I'm a little bit addicted to Gabriella's blog, style and aesthetic, I adore the colours she picks to wear, her amazing hair & bubblegum blog. She makes the most amazing pop culture inspired jewellery, awesome apparel and her zines are super cute! I illustrated a piece inspired by the lovely Gabriella herself and here it is. I love collaborating with bloggers and designers, it's the best.

P.S. Swooning over these darling earrings for Valentine's day! How amazing are they?! #jackandroseforever

AGAINST THE CURRENT OF THE GOLD

An illustration from a few weeks ago inspired by the Great Gastby ♥ I have a collection of film inspired illustrations that I haven't got round to scanning yet but I'm going to share them over the next few weeks. This illustration is available as a 6 x 4 print at the moment, but I will soon have a4 versions in the shop. If any of you lovelies have a request for a film that you'd like to see in the shop please just let me know in the comments or you can tweet me @natashalikestea or @velvet_wolves ♥

AGAINST THE CURRENT OF THE GOLD

We saw The Great Gatsby in all its glittering glory. I loved it. Such a beautiful film. I remember seeing Moulin Rouge when it came out and being amazed at the aesthetic and soundtrack of a film, this is definitely one I want to treasure in my collection. I'm obsessed with the soundtrack, my favourite track is Over The Love by Florence and The Machine. I have illustrated a poster inspired by the film, you can find it here.
