Because we've been having this amazing albeit tiring mini heatwave in England we decided to take our chances and head to the coast for a day on the beach. We packed a picnic, I was excited to try out my posh new flask and caught the train to the seaside. Needless to say from the snaps I took when we got there it was quite deflating to see this eerie mist seeping through what should have been a busy ice cream scented seaside town. But it was warm and we had a little tent so pitched it on the sand and it held us all safe and warm like a little fort on a vast beach with not a soul in sight. The sun did make an appearance later on in the day, which meant that Matt could have a much anticipated paddle in the salty waves ♥
